Creamy garlic native oyster mushroom sauce

Ingredients: These are rough measurements. You can do more or less as you want.

1-3 heaped Tablespoons Butter (depending on how indulgent you want it to be)

A dinner plate full of oyster mushrooms - torn to bite sized pieces (although you can leave bigger if you want)

4-5 cloves garlic (can do more flavour) A Few light sprinkles of dry mixed herbs (thyme, oregano, basil, rosemary) or a bit more if fresh 200ml cream Salt and pepper

 

  • 1. Melt butter in the pan on medium heat
  • 2. Add mushrooms to pan. Cook for a few minutes. Leave on each side until it goes brown.
  • 3. When the mushrooms are brown add the garlic, dry herbs, and a little salt and pepper and stir until fragrant.
  • 4. Add cream and let bubble until thick. Stir and season with more salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5. Serve
